It was a fun busy weekend! The girls went over to Grandpa Miller and Jill's Saturday night so Jason and I could sneek away to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great time, we went down to Stillwater and went on a dinner cruise. It was so sweet, a plane flew overhead after dinner with a proposal banner and the couple were actually on our boat. They were so cute, I don't think they stopped kissing for 15 minutes. The temperature reminded us of our wedding day, it was 98 on Saturday and I think it was about the same or warmer on our wedding day - everyone remember the church was not air conditioned? How could anyone forget, everyone was soaking wet by the time they left. We just wanted it to be memorable.
Sunday Piper enjoyed swimming and floating with Grandpa and Jill while Reagan enjoyed a nap in the shade then we ran over to Grandma and Grandpa Kocina's for a visit and stopped by Aydan's baptism party.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! We took the girls to see fireworks last night. Piper was a little confused on why she was awake so late but she enjoyed herself. We learned from last year that it's much easier to go right before they start then trying to keep her entertained for several hours. Reagan woke up as they were starting and watched them too, it was a lot of fun!

Reagan also slept in her very own room for the first time last night. I was so afraid that I wouldn't sleep without her right next to me but I did great and heard her just fine rustling around at 5:30 for her morning snack.
We have to hold Piper's head because she will either look up or down with her cheesy smile to avoid the flash.
