Oh Christmas Tree, oh Christmas Tree.....

Yes, even though it was bitter cold out this weekend we decided to pick out our tree, we thought were ambitious and were planning to cut down our own this year but after driving for a while we decided to stop by a lot and since the prices were pretty similar we decided to go the easy route. I think this is the actual tree we bought behind me. Looking at this first picture, I think we are in trouble, Piper looks like she's modeling.
She was a very good decorator, we only lost one bulb even though we dropped many, many more!

Snack break, Piper likes to share, well she just loves to feed Reagan in general.

Picture day

The girls met Santa today. Piper was very hesitant but Santa held on tight so she didn't get away. Reagan was really checking him out, she wasn't scared at all. Niki bought them their Christmas dresses this year - they are so cute and fit them perfectly! As Mom and I were getting them all dressed several people had to stop and comment on how cute they looked in their fancy dresses.
We also had regular portraits done this morning too. Reagan was not in a smiling mood which is very odd for her but Piper did great - we ended up with some cute ones which we'll get in a couple of weeks.

Reagan found her voice

Reagan found her voice, she started babbling - la la la la yesterday and it's her new favorite thing. She has the sweetest little voice, it's just beautiful!

Wow was last night a long night, Reagan's been running a fever and that means very restless sleeping for her and us, at 11:00 I brought her into bed and I finally fell asleep around 12:30, Jason took the shift between 1:30 and 3 and then we struggled through the rest of the night. Her fever got up to 103.7 at 3am, I was so worried I was going to have to call the doctor but this morning it's down and she is a happy little girl. I have no idea if it's this cold that is bugging her or she's teething, I guess time will tell.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! We're headed off to Mom's for dinner today. I hope everyone's dinner is delicious! Here is Piper playing in the dusting of snow this morning.

Reagan - I was trying to get some new pictures of her but she wasn't holding very still, this is the only non blurry one.

Aydan and Reagan's playdate. Aydan is cruising around and she's trying to stand, Heather and Brant have their hands full. It's not too long until Jason and I are back at that stage too. Fortunately Reagan's still not moving.

We really thought Reagan was going to crawl the other night. The quality isn't that great, we were eating dinner in the bright kitchen so the living room looks really dark, I didn't dare get up and distract her.

Bee Movie adventure

Piper and I went to see the Bee Movie on Wednesday. It was cute and she enjoyed being out with just Mom, no baby in site. She got to indulge in some popcorn and a Icee drink as well.
Luckily we are all feeling better finally. Our noses are still running like crazy but I think the cold is on it's way out. Hopefully we can avoid getting sick for a while, at least until after the Holiday season and our Florida trip.

Trick or Treat

Here's our little Spongebob in action, the costume held up pretty well considering all the walking she was doing. It turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself. Unfortunately we were all sick so we did a quick spin around Grandma and Grandpa's neighborhood and came home to attempt sleeping. I think Piper had me up every 20-40 minutes last night. She slept worse than Reagan did the first day she got the cold. Oh I wish my Mommy was here, I'm so sick!!!

Tonight will be fun, she's wearing her homemade Bob costume. I really hope it holds up for the duration of the evening. We will see.
