Another tooth and....

Reagan's other front tooth just started popping out a couple of days ago. Now that she's gotten a few she is just popping them out left and right. She's not too terribly happy about this teething program either. She's just the absolute sweetest, mellowest baby around so when she's slightly fussy it's very alarming to us.

The other big Reagan news is that she decided to be a full time walker today. Yesterday she was practicing and practicing and then today, there was no crawling, just walking, falling on her bottom and then getting right back up to do it some more. She was so darn cute, I was cleaning Piper's room and Reagan was just doing laps, from the door to the bed, back to the door, around the corner into my room and then back. This went on for over an hour, all the while she had to carry around one of Piper's purses looking so pretty.

From what I can guess about Reagan so far, she's a little flirt, tilting her head and tackling someone just to get an extra smile or hug, she's also very girly. Her latest thing, she'll put something on her head just so Mommy will say "oh pretty Rea". It hasn't been all that long but I don't remember if Piper did all that, sad, you think you'll remember it all but while your in the trenches so much of it turns into a blur. I hope I've burned enough into my long term memory for later years. Luckily I'll just reference their blogs for them.

I have a bunch of pictures but it's past my bed time and so they will have to wait for another day or two.

odds and ends

I forgot to mention in my last post that Reagan has finally popped out a 3rd tooth. It looks like a 4th and 5th are trying to come through too. She has not been a very happy camper. Well, she is about the happiest baby around so when she's a little fussy we know something is bothering her.

She's also getting a lot braver with her walking. I catch her standing herself up in the middle of the floor and just crusing across the room. She's not a full time walker yet but soon she will be.

Poor Piper, we've been having a time with her lately. That kid does not sleep! She's been skipping naps left and right and going to be later and getting up earlier. We are going to try a few different strategies to try to get her on a set schedule but it's hard when we are always running around. I'm starting next week after Jason goes back to work. Without sleep this kid is a mess! I knew tantrums were part of parenthood but an all day tantrum. Sheesh - I don't handle those well.

Play time

Here are some pictures from the park a week or so ago, Piper met an older girl and they played tag for a while, the girl and her friend were so nice and patient with her, they kept going up on top of the monkey bars and finally one said, this isn't very fair, we should keep down lower for her to have a chance at catching us. It was very sweet. Reagan just hung out eating sand for most part (yep, gross).


Last year Reagan liked the swing, this year she was a bit scared. She is very cautious about herself and her surroundings. Piper on the other hand can now pump her legs to keep herself swinging. She's also much more confident in herself, I think our gym classes have been a big part of that.

Piper has finally found the fun in playing dress up. She puts on concerts with her "keytar" (piano/guitar) just like DeeDee Doodle fromt the DoodleBops which was a good concert but I personally can't handle watching the show, that is probably why she obsessed with it. At least it's not Barney.

This was just too funny not to post - Just so NO to crack!!!
We bought Mom some flowers for her porch for Mother's day and Piper helped her plant them. I got Piper and Reagan each little shovels last week for them to help me when I plant and Piper's been itching to dig with her shovel so we luckily had an excuse today.

What a fun morning - well for the girls it was. Mommy got to get a root canal at 8am this morning. Fun stuff, let me tell you!
