Bill's Birthday, Piper's straight(ish) hair

Sunday, January 27, 2008

Getting ready to go to dinner for Bill's Birthday Piper let me dry her hair straight. It was so pretty, she kept saying "my hair feels funny, so soft". I think she really liked it but she's not used to it being so long and it kept getting in her face. I also put a little lip gloss and blush on her so she was feeling pretty.

No one believes me when I tell them it really goes to the middle of her back, the curls are so tight that it just springs right up. I would love to have her hair but if she decides she likes it straight I'm in trouble.

Bill's Birthday ice cream flare. Reagan and Piper thought it was pretty cool!

She's tasting some water, practicing her straw drinking skills
Papa Miller really wanted her to taste his root bear. She didn't get a swig of it or anything but I'm sure she got some flavor from the mouth of the bottle, she was obsessed with it.

Mom and Dad gave her a PlayDough Caddy as one of her presents, hours of fun!

Great Grandma Red gave her some new slippers!

Piper's 3rd Birthday pictures... Presents etc

This lollipop was one of her prizes from Chuck E Cheese, she was so happy for about 3 hours with that thing, what a sticky mess!

Piper's 3rd Birthday pictures... Games

Playing games was the highlight of Piper's day, especially since she got to play games with all of her favorite people

I think Dad enjoys Chuck E Cheese just about, if not more than Piper does - just look at his smile! Although Papa and Jill look like they were having fun too!

Papa Lonny and Jill
Clay, Marilyn, Papa Terry, Dad and Reagan
Reagan checking the place out, scouting for her future Birthday parties
Enjoying a little pizza

Piper had almost all of her favorite people there, Mom, Dad, Reagan, Papa Lonny, Claire, Matt, Clay, Papa Miller, Jill, Bill and Niki and of course Great Grandma Marilyn (White-don't have any idea why she calls her that). She missed both her Dora Mary and Robin though.

Piper's 3rd Birthday pictures... Here's the cake

This is after Jason and I finally finished it, it was around 11:30 pm, you can't see that my legs and the lower half of my shirt are covered in powdered sugar - it was a fun mess to make!

Not what we were originally planning for colors etc but we were very happy with the end result and it was delicious, just ask Lonny and Niki!
We had to wait at Chuck E Cheese for a few minutes so we distracted her by letting her see the cake and....
she had to have a lick, unfortunately it happened so quick and I had Reagan in my lap so the picture didn't even sort of turn out but oh well
she loved the candles Grandma Mary sent her from Florida, and she blew all three out without a problem

Reagan's so cute!

Reagan wanted to try out Piper's car and she loves it!

She's starting to figure out how to use her knees - she's getting faster at crawling, she gets up on her knees but then back down onto her belly to actually move, she hasn't figured out that her hands and knees work together. She's just interested in standing up but she hasn't figured out how to pull herself up yet, she always wants assistance.

After a heated domino game everyone decided to go for a swim, this was the first day it got cold and I dipped a toe in and decided it was not warm enough for me, as everyone got in they screamed, they had a lot of fun for a few minutes anyways
more Reagan in her birthday swimsuit
Jason and I got to sleep in, when we woke up Piper and Papa were swimming in the rain, it was so cute, they were having a blast
happy baby eating on the lanai

Reagan's hair just might have some curl to it
