Pictures, pictures, pictures and Birthday

With summer in full swing we are busy being out and about and I'm actually remembering to take pictures lately.

Here's my big cutie practicing peddling
Here's the little cutie putute - she was having some diaper rash issues so I let her hang out on the deck in a partial birthday suit.
My gosh, like Father like Daughter, they are spending some quality time playing the Wii and they are even dressed the same - completely an accident by the way
Wow! Piper did the dishes the other night, she rinsed all the plates and put them in the dishwasher and then told me the dishwasher needed soap but not the kind from on top of the sink. I was pretty impressed by her just doing the dishes, I didn't even consider that she'd try to put dish soap in there, luckily she knew it took special soap.

The day before my Birthday Mom came over to give me a break, she kept Reagan busy while I grocery shopped, wow that was strange shopping by myself. After Piper got home from school they drew my a little picture and...
made me a cake!

On the day of my Birthday Dad took the day off from work and took the girls and I to lunch on the boat. It was just a perfect day, sunny, warm and not windy at all. We had a great time, well, Reagan doesn't like the life jacket but if you get the boat going fast enough she stops crying and fussing.
Just a sour look on her face, not fun for her at all in that big jacket.
I can tell Piper's been playing the Wii, she was a great driver, Dad let her steer all by herself and just gave her directions to go, we only did one doughnut.

At lunch there were tons of geese waiting for a snack, Piper was only too happy to oblige.

Reagan had to get in on the action too

Oh, there were about 6 huge carp down with the geese getting a snack too. Quite a site!
I just have to say THANK YOU again to both Mom and Dad for making this one of the best Birthday's I have had in years! It was so nice of you Mom to come over and let me have some free time and just go out and about by myself - it is very strange for me nowdays! Dad, I was so touched that you took the day off to hang out with me and the girls. Thank you for lunch, the boat ride, letting me jet ski (and thank you Jill for that) and making a delicious dinner for everyone. I love you both and you've always spoiled me in the best way possible, by doing things with or for me, you just can't buy that! Love, Baby!

Cabin weekend June 13-15th

Last weekend my girlfriends and I were lucky enough to get to go to the cabin without the kids. We got up there late Friday and left way too early on Sunday but we enjoyed Saturday to the fullest. We layed out in the sun, snacked away, read magazines, talked, went out for chocolate and ice cream and I personally took a nice long nap. It was marvelous!

Here's a couple picture of paradise!

After the second storm a double rainbow appeared - you don't see those everyday
It was still raining a little bit when I took this

1st day of school, other fun photos

Yep, Piper started school, during the Summer no less. I couldn't take it anymore, she's been just walking around the house at a loss for what to do next so her favorite go to for entertainment has been bothering her Sister by either grabbing a toy right out of her hands, pushing her down, or any other thing that will get her to cry. I finally decided it was time to get her into school, I had checked into it a while ago but thought I'd wait until Fall, nope she's ready for a little activity outside of the house.

She is going 2 days a week for 2.5 hours each day and came home the first day and told me "everybody was so nice to me". That just melted my heart, that is exactly what you want to hear after dropping your baby off at a new place and leaving her for the 1st time. Her favorite part of the day, painting. I actually did pretty well, I thought I'd get choked up or nervous but I was ok until I got home, I was looking forward to some fun time with Reagan but she went down for a nap and I had to wake her up to go get Piper so I sat here dumbfounded on what to do with myself. I think I'll get into a new routine even if Reagan is napping and find something nice to do with the 5 hours per week. Maybe I'll work on the garden, or sit lazily in the sun, maybe Reagan will give up her morning nap and keep me company, we will see.

getting into the car
in front of the school, she would NOT just stand and smile - my silly girl!

Reagan's first time finger painting. She only tried to eat it 5 or 6 times in the entire 2 or 3 minutes I let this project take place. She made a little Father's Day card for Daddy.
Piper thought Reagan eating the paint was hilarious, she never really did finish her card, we ended up buying one for Daddy from Piper.

Fun day in the sun, we hooked up her sprinkler for her and she charged right in.
This day she was posing for the camera - I got a bunch of great shots of her, my pretty girl.

I absolutely love this picture
We have another corn on the cob lover! She actually got a few kernels off the cob with her 4 teeth, I was pretty impressed. She just wants to do everything her Big Sister is doing.

Here she's batting her eyelashes at her Dad, she just adores her Dad, she's such a little flirt and so darn sweet!

Gym graduation

Piper's last day of Gym class was June 5th, they had a full class with parents and other friends and family in the room with them and getting to join in.

Here's the ceremony where they got a certificate and a medalion.

she kind of shuts down both times that Dad was there watching, she clams up, it's so funny.
Parents were encouraged to join in and I think I was the only one who tried but it totally distracted Piper and she stopped playing so I backed out, bummer, it looks like so much fun

she quickly figured out that Grandma won't resist her and Grandma Robin then joined in
Reagan joined in too
