Last Sunday Rob came over to give Jason a crash course on tree trimming the right way. Perhaps he just needed some entertainment because I don't remember the last time I've heard Rob laugh so hard. Jason is not a big fan of heights so hanging from the tree was not very comfortable for him, it took him longer to get used to hanging and climbing then it did to trim the branches. Luckily I took also some videos for posterity.

ok, all saddled up, now here is how you climb....

the girls and I took to some lawn chairs in the yard to supervise

Piper getting the chairs for her and Reagan

ok, he's up a little ways, now just learning the ropes

Reagan had to point out Layla's poo for me

now he's up there hanging and smiling

Now, onto my Birthday. I love this picture. I don't know what it is, I think I always take Dad by surprise, he's never smiling. Brecken has a pretty cute look. She's so expressive and smiley, she almost seems older than her 7 weeks. She also looks more and more like a redhead as time goes by.

Mom and the girls watching the geese and carp, they were actually feeding the geese cheeze its.

Tessa and Piper, Tessa was playing with Brecken

Group shot at lunch. I have to say, this was one of my top 5 birthdays. Thank you so much Dad, Jill, Niki, and Mom for taking us to lunch, letting me jet ski, the girls boat and just spending time together. That is the best present of all. I thought it was a pretty special treat to be having lunch with both Mom and Dad at the same time. Jason took me completely by surprise by taking me to see Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood last night. I don't know why I didn't suspect it when he told me the girls were spending the night at his Mom and Dad's. I just figured dinner. I had a great day and am still glowing (literally, I'm glowing red from sunburn) :)

He just can't get enough! Bye bye arborvities.....

whoa - there's a house behind there

Jason just finished taking down #2 and this is the last picture I got for tonight as it was already 9:15pm. We drug all the mess around to the fire pit and then hooked the stumps up to truck and out they came, pretty easily actually. Now tomorrow when the sun is shining we have to remove the rest of the bushes and clean the yard . He also has another truck load of sod we have to lay. In a few weeks the house will be painted and then we will have to figure out some new landscaping options. The place will start to look nice again, we've put it off for a few years now.
